I am a web designer/developer/marketer. I have worked for big corporations who had in house hosting, to small start-ups using shared hosting. I purchased a VPS (Linux/cPanel) with XanaduServers.com (the same folks who run XSI Hosting) in late January of this year and wanted to share my positive experience with them thus far.

I did not fall into the trap of looking for the lowest-cost provider because I have been burned by that approach. I am convinced that the old adage "you get what you pay for" is especially true with web server companies. XanaduServers.com is not the cheapest game in town, but they are more than fairly priced given the quality of the products they provide. For once, I have been able to go to sleep at night confident that my server was in capable hands, and that if problems arose, they would be quickly handled.

Fortunately, though, there have been few problems. What few there were, they were minor and were immediately resolved. The uptime has been outstanding, and the servers speeds very good. I've not had one complaint about server performance from any of my customers, which is something that used to happen much too often with my previous provider.

The tech support has been excellent. Xanadu offers 24x7 email or telephone support, as well as online chat. I have used the online chat several times when I was up working at two in the morning and each time received quick resolutions to the issues I was dealing with. I have been impressed with the knowledge of their staff, as I haven't stumped them yet!

In short, I highly recommend them both XSI Hosting and XanaduServers.com!
