Unlimited Linux Web Hosting is a reseller that offers cPanel. My experience with Unlimited Linux Web Hosting left me somewhat frustrated. Unlimited Linux Web Hosting does have unbeatable prices, at $0.50 USD a month, which was the primary reason I signed up for their service. I had already registered my domain with 1&1 Internet, and during ULWH's registration process I didn't want to transfer my domain so I selected the option of updating my name servers. Their system kept rejecting my [American Express] credit card, so I paid through Pay Pal, and the charge immediately went through. I expected an email with instructions on setting everything up. Instead, I simply received an email with my account information on their billing system. I searched through their entire website looking for information on what to update my name servers to, and found it nowhere. I tried during different parts of the day to use their supposedly "24-hour" customer support, and never got connected. Eventually, I realized that since I couldn't use their service, I went into Pay Pal and began the dispute process, where I saw an email address for them - @gmail.com. (!?) I emailed it with my question, and received a response within 24 hours telling me to update my name servers to ns1.unlimitedlinuxwebhosting.com and ns2.unlimitedlinuxwebhosting.com, which I did. Shortly, 1&1 confirmed the changes were made, but ULWH still wouldn't let me use email, publish my site, or anything. So I emailed them again (they would usually respond the same day, but around midnight) and was told it would take 48-72 hours to update. After four days, it still wouldn't work so I emailed them again and was then told that I needed to have 1&1 open outgoing TCP port 80. I called 1&1, but they said since the name servers were pointed towards Unlimited Linux Web Hosting that they couldn't do it. I email them again, and then they say that I have to just send them the files of my site, they will upload them and host it. That is NOT what they promise on their site. They say I will be able to use RV Site Builder, the programs in Fantastico, Manage DNS records, use email at my site, use FTP, and a lot more. That was what I paid for, so that is what I should be able to do. I've ended up extremely frustrated, because I assumed signing up wouldn't mean a more than one week ordeal of correspondence and confusion. After my experience, I think I would only recommend Unlimited Linux Web Hosting to people who really need a cheap host, and have quite a lot of time to get their questions answered and set up their website.
