I've been with UK2.net for over a year. Hosting has been fairly good (although their database server seems to go down quite often), but when there are problems UK2 are nowhere to be found.

The first problem was with bandwidth. My site started to attract over 100k visitors a month and at one point I went through my bandwidth allocation. No email or phone call to warn me or offer me an upgrade, the site just went black. I tried to get hold of them over the weekend, no response. Even on Monday or Tuesday I didn't manage to get hold of them; their 50p a minute tech support line keeps ringing out.

Then this month, my site went over it's allowed CPU usage (a sign to upgrade to a dedicated server). Again, no warning, they just suspended the account. Trying to upgrade my account from shared to a VPS didn't lead to anything; there's no way to get hold of them.

So stay away from them if you're looking for a host you can talk to.

Well, i have 47 domains and 2 dedicated servers with these guys and the price is amazing and the speed to my boxes maxes out my 20mb line at home everytime, the tech support is second to none and the guys/girls there really know there stuff, saved my hyde a few times!

The dedicated servers are sold with set specs but with my 2 i found they had better processors in them and 1 had an extra 512mb of RAM! More performance for my sites so i didnt complain !

Domains come with basic DNS control so I use dnsexit for my dns to save paying to transfer my domains across :S A bit of a pain but it works :D

Would recommend to all size sites based on speed and price and as I said support is great!
